Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" his opponent as the pair met personally to publicize next month's boxing match.
Former twice world title holder Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge mismatch - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
Despite those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning massive earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary face-off, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly happening.
